The Story behind Art by XRDH originated in 2013 during the course of creative director Xilesia Dwyer Henry's degree, during her time studying at Central Saint Martins. Xilesia focused her creative practice on mental health, thus beginning a journey of personal introspection visualised through artworks.

While examining the concept of mental health, this awakened Xilesia's desire to openly question and analyse sociological and psychological developments as well as regressions which shapes how mental health is viewed and experienced by individudals.
