Evanesce Gaze is one of the alluring photoshoots created during our Creative Director Xilesia's conceptualisation of the Mental Health Series 1-3 in 2017.

During this period Xilesia's work was primarily focused around the identity of those who suffer from mental illness.

Xilesia decided to remove the generalised identifable features to prompt the viewer to connect to the layers beyond the visual. In the same way how different materials and mediums has been used to conceal the models identity, presents an identical metaphor for looking beyond 'face value'.
