Minus You is a small 6 x 4" framed lenticular piece designed to add movement to dull spaces or any space that you want to intrigue viewers by the unexpected disappearance of one of the ladies in the frame. To see this motion all that is needed is for the image to be turned 45 degrees facing the left, then repeating this on the right. In order to see a full transition of one of the women disappear then reappear this may need approximately 90 degrees left to right motion.

Should you choose to display this piece as a wall art to activate the lenticular transitions would require the viewer to move both to the left and right while keeping focus on the image.

  • CONCEPT

Minus You is one of the renowned pieces from the Mental Health series  2. Minus you follows the very true story of loss within friendships following a personal account from the Creative Director Xilesia. An aspect of depression which isn't shown enough is how the dynamic changes within friendships while facing the emotional challenges of mental illness, this was hugely important to replicate this within Xilesia's piece as it looks at mental illness from those suffering, and those around too.
